Medical Expenses for a Special Child

I am so excited to be a part of Paradigm’s Pay-it-forward program.  I am a firm believer in blessing others around you.  10 years ago I was on bed rest and then had a child in the NICU for over 4 months. I was blessed with meals, finances, etc.  and I made a purpose in my heart to always give back when I can.   I have kept that promise.

A few weeks ago a prayer need came across my FaceBook Inbox.  Prayer was needed for Kristofer Robinson.  “Kristofer Robinson has recently been found to have mesenchymal chondro sarcoma, cancer of the cartilage. He's the only baby in the world that has this kind of cancer”.  Since I had almost lost my daughter, I was immediately filled with compassion and love for this child and his family.  I also know how much is needed during a time where you are at the hospital more than you are at home.  I knew right away that this was the family that deserved and needed the Pay-it-forward money.

The money donated to Kristofer and his family will be used for his medical expenses. Co-pays, gas to the hospital, etc. Insurance will NOT pay for all of his bills. Insurance has a cap. So anything above and beyond, the family will have to pay for unfortunately. In addition, if the chemo works and they have to remove his leg and half of his pelvis, prosthetics are not covered by insurance either.

Attached are some photos of Kristofer.  As you can see he is adorable and full of life.  Maybe that is why Jesus has asked us to be like children?  Children seem to handle things better than adults.  The family has asked anyone that feels lead to pray for Kristofer and his family.  If you are reading this and feel like you would like to also bless this family, please address all donations in Kristofer Robinson's name to Citizens Bank, 205 W.
