Bringing
Classmates Together
I attended my 20 year
high school reunion in June. After talking to a friend - who could
not afford to go - one of my classmates started a fund to help those
who couldn't afford it - afford it. Due to the kindness of others,
classmates who would not have been able to participate, were able to
join us. $300 would allow 4 of my classmates join in on the fun,
whereas otherwise they wouldn't be able to attend the festivities at
all. Appears I got the ball rolling...after I pledged the
Pay-It-Forward money, 4 other classmates signed up to contribute
funds to help our fellow classmates out. Although the donations
were confidential, they were told about the Pay-It-Forward
initiative. One of the lucky candidates thanked me on the side and
promised to Pay-It-Forward Back to Pay-It-Forward
