Helping with Essentials

There was a lady from my church that has fallen on hard times.  Her husband lost his job with the Department of Homeland Security and they were faced with the fact of bankruptcy.  Going from a $120K income to a $60K income was very difficult and they could not meet their bills.

I approached her three weeks ago and told her that I worked for Paradigm Technologies and also told her about Pay-It-Forward.  I asked her what was it that she needed the most and she told me her pantry was bare of food essentials.  I went to the grocery store and bought her family $100 in food and then gave her another $200 to put towards one of her outstanding bills.  She was so grateful that she began to cry and asked me to tell you what an outstanding program Pay-It-Forward is and that one day when her family got back on their feet, they would also return the favor of other couples who were down and out on their luck.
