(Arlington, VA – August 25, 2008)
Paradigm Technologies, Inc. (Paradigm) announced today it has ranked
number 3,425 on
Inc. Magazine’s 5,000 fastest-growing companies in
America. The list is the most comprehensive look at an important
segment of the economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs.
Paradigm has achieved a three-year revenue growth of 96.9 percent
from 2004 to 2007.
“From our very humble beginnings as a
four person "start-up" in 1994, we have grown smartly, steadily and
consistently over the past several years,” explained Paradigm’s CEO
Rob Koch.
Paradigm is a privately-held, small
business headquartered in Arlington, VA, that employs 300 financial
and program management professionals and provides support services
to Department of Defense and other Federal agency customers.
Paradigm specializes in providing integrated program and financial
management support to a wide variety of DoD customers, and strategic
planning services to civilian agencies. Paradigm maintains major
field offices in Huntsville, AL, Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA. Key
staff are also located in Colorado Springs, CO; Groton, CT; Newport
News, VA; Boston, MA; and Fort Greely, AK.
“I am very excited that Paradigm has
been selected as one of Inc. Magazine's 5,000 Fast-Growth
Companies in America. Our selection is somewhat ironic since we have
consistently avoided setting specific growth goals for our company,”
explained Rob Koch.
“We continue to carefully grow through
a variety of means – organic growth where existing customers ask for
more Paradigm employees; recompetes of existing contracts where our
customers invite us back; and in successful competitions where there
is a good match between us and new customers,” Rob Koch explained.
“In a nutshell, this is how we made the Inc. 5000 list –
built upon a reputation for excellent people providing outstanding
performance through dedicated service to our Government customers.”
“While our method may sound a little
old fashioned to some, Paradigm has really grown through the hard
work of our employees,” Gerry Zimmerman, Paradigm’s President
explained. “Our fundamental goal is to make sure our customers are
completely satisfied with the services we provide them. Each
Paradigm employee delivers for his or her customer in a way that
builds upon our reputation. This has been a key contributor to our
ability to grow.”
Paradigm’s growth is reflected in the
expansion of its Huntsville Operations and the establishment of two
new customer support locations. Over the past three years,
Paradigm’s Huntsville office has grown from 17 employees to over 100
who provide support to the Missile Defense Agency, Army Space &
Missile Defense Command, and a wide variety of Federal Agencies.
Following the award of a prime contract with the Navy’s Aegis
Ballistic Missile Defense program, Paradigm has established a strong
presence in Dahlgren, VA. More recently, Paradigm was selected to
provide integrated business operations support to the Mine Resistant
Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Joint Program Office in Quantico,
VA.
“The Huntsville office has seen amazing
growth over the past few years,” noted Mr. Furney Wood, Vice
President for Huntsville Operations. “When we began supporting MDA
here in Huntsville in 2001, we had only two Paradigm employees.
Today, the Huntsville office has over 100 employees supporting MDA
and the Army here in Huntsville, and many other Federal agencies
across the country. The key is we have built an excellent reputation
for business and financial management, cost estimating, and
strategic planning/competitive sourcing expertise.”
Paradigm finished calendar year 2007 with revenues of $37.4 million.
